Ebay thinks this is an alternative to a battery maintainer:

Come on John, you know you want another plastic car.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

"Galvanised.."
In theory, yes, but they were stacked on the (mud) floor of the Two Gates building and used from the top of the pile first. BEFORE going for pickling and dipping! Needless to say every Reliant chassis, Galvanised or not, needs to be thoroughly checked.
I do love a Fox though, and that appears to be a nice one under the grime. Gotta go, there's a scary looking bloke in a white coat... NOOOOOO! Not the big needle. Please.

Sweet, but better yet it has a set of wheels that would be perfect as an alternative to the solid unobtanium [Viva HA] wheels on the Fox in an earlier post. Or a Rebel, many of which already have Imp wheels so that they can run "wide" 155 section tyres safely and be fitted with Lotus Elan brakes.
I did once look into the notion of fitting the semi auto gearbox/transaxle from my VW1500 into an Imp - I'd been offered a nice Chamois as a swap for a 1950s B&O radiogram - but that short lived plan would have required far too many hours of grinding and bodging.
:(

My dad used to have a Chamois called Fluff (it had FLF on the plate). I don't remember it as I was 3 wen he replaced it with a Marina but I have pictures of me standing on his lap holding the steering wheel.
They must be getting pretty rare now.

Ooh-err! Still, it could be worse, the car could have been called DLT..

Damn! I like that. Terry, Elvis Payne's 3 wheeler site is a wonderful resource. I don't know how much time you pass there but for anyone who thought they knew something about weird cars that are short of a wheel, go and have a butcher's. The bloke is a f'n star turn, just like the American bloke for whom his parents named him.
