Ght are you ok?   i once owned a metro...
I am now, after reading about John waxing lyrical and you admitting to owning such a dire B/L car, have to own up, I went and had some therapy. Made me feel a lot better driving that old MG around.

There's a rather attractive MG for sale at Alton, Hampshire. I might have another look on Monday. Given that it's a dealer in vintage cars, he might accept mine in P/X.

I haven't actually seen this car, it's a 1952/3 EMW that's Eisenacher Motoren Werke. BMW's factory ended up in East Germany after WW2, unable to use the BMW name, they copied the logo and changed it from blue to red. Well they would, wouldn't they? I have been deliberating about trading my MG for a pre-war MG, but during the current crisis I think that it's prudent to hold on to my savings, old classics might be redundant before too long. The subsequent clean air from the dramatic drop in vehicle use has brought air pollution to the fore. One of the cars that the dealer has is this amazing EMW. He's asking eighty five grand for it. Any takers?

With the lockdown & the sunshine. I've noticed a lot of people using their classics to 'do the shopping!'
Hartlepool Tesco on Friday there were a silver Audi Quatro. A square VW aircooled van. 90's Rover 800, Saab 9500.
I have no excuses other than my 97 Corolla is my daily driver! lol
