Re: Introductions
Greetings all.
Thank you for accepting me onto the forum. Classic car boffins are the friendliest bunch.
My name is Jimmy. I am 31 years old and i am a VW lover. Beetles all the way for me.
I have just finished a 72 Jeans edition and a 70 stock 1200. Looking to start a beach buggy in the near future.
I also dabble into the odd other makes too.
I often help my father with his Robin Hood Donington with a 2.0 Pinto engine and i am also restoring an Austin 10 Sherbourne for a good friend.
I may rely on you lot heavily. I hope you don't mind.
Thanks

Re: Introductions
Good morning all!!
My name is Joe.
I live up in east yorkshire, Not sure if its classed as a classic but i own a 1993 vauxhall calibra, im going through the same nut and bolt as people who own the older cars due to the fact my car wasnt built correctly in the first place, Father in law is a TR7 nut and same again hes having a constant battle with car cancer (rust).
Just on here to expand my knowledge, contacts, and im usually a very active forumer (is that the term?) i attend shows often and love meeting up with like minded enthusiasts. I also bring with me quite an extensive list of contacts for parts and services... im on first name terms with bodyshops!!
Anyway you shall be seeing a bit more of me on here and look forward to meeting up in person.
Joe.

Introductions
Hi all, I'm Brian, I live in Reading and I have a 1969 Ford Cortina mk2 series 1 4 door in anchor Blue. I purchased the car from a old boy who had it since new. He put a tow bar on it and used the car twice a year for his getaway's towing a caravan with his family hence why there's only 40,000 on the clock. I got the original bill of sale and all the mot and service paperwork too.. The rear arches have gone but these will be replace and the rear of the car re-sprayed in the next few months. I've removed the tow bar and sorted out the electrics. Looking forward to using her over the summer.
