Britains best drives

#1 Post by Oldcarnut » Sun Feb 20, 2011 12:02 am

I dont know if this has been posted before but, I just came across a tv programme lately shown on blighty called "Britains best drives" which has Richard Wilson from the "I dont believe it" fame sitcom "one foot in the grave".In it it featues him driving through different parts of the UK in old cars from the fifties. But I tell you, he is making a right pigs ear of the poor cars  such as stalling, crunching gears, labouring the engine etc.Ok can happen to anyone, fair enough, but then I have an idea why maybe because he did mention in one of the programmes that he always drives an auto and all the cars in the series are manual.Alright I will cut him some slack, but I cringe when I hear the poor cars been abused  :) .

By the way, its not a current programme.
