When I was a student, contemporaries of mine had a motley selection of Fiats (Rot and being rolled killed that) Itals (Rot), Talbot (Rattled like a sod). The usual left-overs of the 80's. I had a Mk2 1300 GL. Perky little thing that went well and was a hoot around the twisties. Rot killed that.

I replaced that with a Mk1 Sierra 1600. In comparison to the escort it was a complete pile of manure that I didn't miss when the rot killed it. Hateful car
Landrovers and Welding go together like Bread and Butter. And in the wet they are about as structurally sound

Biting. It's like kissing except there's a winner
