Editor's new ride
Here we go then, my new wheels. A 1970 Rover P6 3500 S1. Needs new rope oil seal so I got it for a fair price, but the an S1 with the V8 has always been on my list of must have classics... polished Rostyles are from a P5... thin white lined tyres are new... do we like them? Bit bling... but they're growing on me. What do you think?

That looks lovely. I do like series one P6s, and I'm not biased.
Looks like a great car with some very nice extras. Recently resprayed if it's the car I think I saw on ebay a wee while ago?

very nice, always fancied a V8 P6. (I would get rid of the white walls myself)
Re: Editor's new ride
Yeah, I so would . I'm not too sure about the white stripes on the tyres either, but shall come to terms with them and struggle on, manfully, not remotely envious of your owning that lovely Rover. That wasn't strictly true as it happens: I'm insanely envious and I want one. Now.

Have you forgotten that once we were brought here we were robbed of our names, robbed of our language,we lost our religion, our culture, our God? And many of us by the way we act,we even lost our minds.

That looks much too good for you Danny! Keep the whitewalls, they set the car off, especially with the Rostyles.
I've just sold my Matra, it's going to Portugal, so I'm looking to fill the space left, anyone got any ideas what I should go for?

Nice choice Mr Hopkins!
I say keep the whitewalls. They add just a hint of pimp.
