E reg was the short lived plate, from January to July 1967; the move to August being designed to increase car sales during the Summer, so I understand.

I saw this Mini at a garage near Battle Railway Station. Also I saw a red D-reg Citroen BX, couple of MGBs and a white E-reg Audi Quattaro, all in Battle.

I went to JR Carspares scrapyard today,Paddock Wood , before you can poke around you have to put on a hi viz tabbard !! Anyway they have a Bedford Rascal / Suzuki tipper truck in there.. didn't look bad at all but i didn't look really closely . Tax disc was 2004 I'd hazard a guess its been indoors until now ...Tiny tiny truck ,old shape, flat front, in red

The green Morris Minor 1000 has just gone past (It might be more newsworthy if I reported when I haven't seen it) and on Wednesday, at the MOT garage, I saw the proprietors Austin Healey (Frogeye) Sprite and their (Awaiting rebuild) MGA Mk2. There has been a garage there since 1938 (Well sited at the top of a hill, as some early garages were) and indeed, the day I bourght my Midget, there wasn't much petrol in it, so we cut across to Sirhowy Garage (The old building was still there then) and my father noitced the Frogeye lurking in the back of the garage :!:

you haven't seen a chav'd up old lady for years  anyway,I see a Sierra every day and don't view it as a Classic, only when someone says,"I use to have one years ago"
