You should have done the owner a favour and parked on top of it with your tipper.
Post those pics on barryboys.co.uk they will enjoy having a laugh.

:? OK, so is it a BMW or a Harley? Amazingly, the owner's attempt to disguise the origin of whatever sort of motor vehicle that is has worked and I really wasn't sure at first..

Kill the thing, kill it before it grows! Better yet: Give the rank object a good old rogering with a broom handle, that'll show it that your sense of humour isn't broken.

Beauty? Have you made that appointment with your optician yet?
I thought it was a van derivative of the Vauxhall/Opel Corsa.

GHT should make an appointment too, it's not a van. :P

I'll try to get a photo of yesterday's spot later, the daily is still down at the "local" Longlife franchise today, having its new, slightly more tuneful stainless exhaust made and fitted and the next unit contains an AC ME3000 whose owner picked the beast up at a BCA fleet sale ( ) for a mere £400 as the buyers were mostly after ex-Jersey hire cars to add to their retail stock of modern Fopelotasanundai white goods.
Apparently, so few older cars are sold through the non-specialist houses these days that they rarely hold jalopy sales and, worse than this, I missed a nice example of the first generation MK3 Escort XR3 that had been owned by the same careful person throughout its life to date and was a real XR3, not the common i version that followed it. That made only £280 and was bought as a first car for a teenage person. Hmm, I'd give that about a month to live..

Of course it isn't. the name, van derivative, is something that the industry gave to all those little cars with either the back windows blacked out or, a metal cover over the glass. You see motor factor companies using them, delivering spares to garages. Some have a fold flat back seat, some just have front seats only. They are all gross, perfect for anoraks to claim classic status.
