TangoFanta-stic made it to PeteBogHorror. We did have wiper issues when they stopped mid sweep in a really heavy downpour on the A34, a swift clout to motor soon had them working again, even if I did get soaked in the 30 seconds I was out the car Then it popped the kevlar hose that had been fitted between pump cover and heater hose connections a mile away from the hotel, a trawl through the autojumble eventually found a hose that would kinda fit, rather than having to chop up one of several Allegro bottom hoses for sale just to get a short piece of straight hose. Stormer of a run home, and with it being Ford Fair the same day at Silverstone, plenty of classic (and modern) Blue Ovals out and about. I do hope those sat on the A34 with bonnets up got home ok.JPB wrote:The Tangomite or the new SD3? And did you get to Peterboghorror?
SD3 is being prodded and poked underneath, as more bits of what was once bodywork falls off, and the fuel hose that split to the filter has now been replaced it runs again and is fuel tight.
