Another lost soul!

#1 Post by Steve_H_ » Mon May 06, 2013 8:01 pm

Hello, I'm not very good at these intro posts....

....Anyway, I thought I would sign up as there seem to be a fair few like minded people here, plus over the last couple of years I have been slowly converted to Practical classics. My real name is Steve, I live in Hampshire and currently I have an 85 BMW 528 (E28 for the geeks!) as a rolling project car and my everyday car is a Mazda MX3 (the rare and totally overlooked baby sister of the MX5). At the mo, I'm a bit torn, I really want another project , possibly something mid seventies but my common sense side suggest I ought to spend more time and effort on the BM....

A pleasure to have you here Steve. I'm afraid the E28 doesn't quite grab my enthusiasm as the E24 and the E31. I do quite like the MX-3,does it have the K8 engine in it? I do quite admire the MX-6

Thanks chaps! The K8 engine, would that be the tiny 1.8 V6? My MX3 was bought as a cheap run about, so I opted for the boring 4 cylinder one. Mind you, you would be lucky to find any MX3s they are getting a bit rare!

Nothing wrong with 4 cylinder 87/93bhp isn't boring at all, pulling only 1ton of metal.
