It's a terrible shame that all of the very useful technical info from the old forum is lost, I used to dive into it regularly!
I cannot for the life of me think how killing off the forum can save Bauer money. It seemed to me that it was a (very cheap) way of doing market research which in turn would lead to higher sales and greater profits.
Thick as excrement! Ah well, I hope this forum builds up a similar resource of technical help! It also gives me an excuse to post my restoration story again! Keep an eye out, it won't be too long!

Thanks for the Facebook messages Neil, and i look forward to some interesting topics on here, i'm enjoying the magazine but lets not forget certain project cars(XR4I) also i look forward to seeing more modern classsics in the Mag.

I do hope there is a back up of the old forum as it was very usefull,and hopefully it can be integrated with the new forum.
Difficult getting users back as they dont really want to repeat themselves,but hopefully some will find their way back.
