MoT in Ipswich/Suffolk

Know of a good garage, mechanic, sprayer, supplier in your area? Why not post their details here. Please only post if you have actually used and received good service from this person or place AS A CUSTOMER. Also if you can put the area in the title that will be helpful - when we have enough we'll separate them into Counties / Shires. Note: this is for private members' recommendations, NOT owner/proprietors to punt their businesses - these will be removed.

MoT in Ipswich/Suffolk

#1 Post by suffolknick » Wed May 09, 2012 3:11 pm

Hi folks,

Anyone know of a classic friendly MoT tester in or around Ipswich, Suffolk.

Last year's experience resulted in a broken window winder mechanism....

Cheers,
Nick

Stephen Caulfield & Son, Tunstall are the people I use, Oak Garage Waldringfield and The Vehicle Surgeon Grundisburgh are other names that come to mind.
PS, I'll overlook the plagiarism of usernames ;)

Thanks Peter. And surely imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!?

BTW, Henham Wings and Wheels has just been cancelled for this Sunday, so no trip in the van and no playing air traffic controller :(

I have used The Vehicle Surgeon for many years with no problems, I am involved in some 20+ MOT's a year on older vehicles.
Good Luck
