as before i planned on making a replica of the Turner imp sports car which would of used Hillman imp running gear ,engine,gearbox if it had been finished.
that was a few months ago and things are to look interesting thanks to the Turner register help, having kept some original letters from when they were offered back in 1978 some moulds/Bucks for this very sports car. Turner had very little space or interest at the time take them. they were even sent pictures
also it mensions from the letter that there was a prototype Hillman imp based/chassis unit but it was left outside and deteriorated so far that it was destroyed. Now i am at this point i have two choices one carry on and build a replica from the pictures or i could try and trace these moulds and build a real one.

I am now busy writing a letter to the owner who had the moulds in 1978 in the hope they still exist. as there was rumours that the moulds were destroyed after the turner club didn't take them but i can't see someone doing that as they were worth money at the time, i think there proparly still there or stored somewhere nearby.
