'Tank' A 'Rolling Resto' Bloggy (of sorts)

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

Well, looking around at others I reckon £850 ono is a starting place.......... However hang fire that man....... I thought about classic insurance and becoming a 3 Ovlov person.
Swmbo said, " " then the immortal, "well I suppose if either the 850 or V70 are off the road I have another to drive and you will still have 'Tank' as back up"

So today I have been to see my insurers, they are preparing cover for the V70 & said 'assurance voiture d'collection' will not be a problem. I await the quote....... :geek:

Keep the Tank! Keep the Tank! Keep the Tank!........ panic ye not...... I've had an estimate for classic insurance here 10€ a month with virtually the same cover as I have now. No brainer, I shall soon be a 3 Ovlov owner! Phew :D

Advised tyres near to limit. I knew, but waited the outcome. Should have known better :D

So, I know have four Nankangs in the boot, fitting will be done on Monday to replace the ageing Hankooks.

A well overdue update!!!!!!

Firstly sorry for the loss of the pics, Photobucket 'threw a wobbler' and lost ALL of my photos  . Their support was hopeless  .

Secondly, Tank has gone to pastures 'new'. Sold over here despite RHD to a French chap. Got what I paid for 'him' in 2002 as well

Thirdly, I've got a replacement....... Must start another 'bloggy' :?
