Nothing to report other than I found a good used fuel tank recently, so that ticks another item off the list. Dad is supposed to be putting his Austin A35, Riley, and Reliant Schimitar for sale this month. Once they are gone he can pull the Anglia out of the barn and get started on it.

Update on this aswell. Dad has sold all his cars and now only has the Anglia. In September 2022 I visited the UK and we managed to get a few days to work on the car together. I made a video of it here:

In summary, I wanted to get it running before I left, which we did (just!). Unfortunately we ran out of time and parts to get it driving but in summary what was done was:

All new brakes (cylinders, hoses)
New clutch cylinders and hose
Front strut top mounts replaced
All engine coolant hoses and electrical items replaced (plugs, leads, etc)

Work is still ongoing. Slower than I'd like, but better than nothing. I've asked my dad if it can be roadworthy by the time we come and visit next in 2025 as I have not ridden in it since 1989. Another special thing was getting 3 generations photographed with the car that has been in the family since the 70's. I will become the next custodian, and my daughter will be after that.

Fuel tank has been replaced, and the engine has been removed to fix a core plug leak. I think while it is out they plan to clean up the engine bay, then refit the engine and set their attention to the bodywork.
