Cor, a Kaiser! Got to love some of the styling queues on these, like that possibly unique windscreen top line.

Oh my,    I do believe that I just yelped like a puppy through sheer joy at the sight of that car! I've seen many things in my time on this planet and elsewhere, but have never, ever seen a Kaiser other than in books.

You, Kingsgate, are a total legend for choosing to own that amazing piece of historic Americana. Thanks for showing it to us.

Yeah, they have a totally unique style, don't they. I think there's only 2 or 3 in the UK!

Great stuff we are currently short of a stylish fat yank in the members cars & projects section - what's your plans for it - run as it is or super shiney paint jobbie ??
1937 Jowett 8 - Project - in less pieces than the Jupiter
1943 Jowett Stationary Engine
1952 Jowett Jupiter - In lots of peices http://Jowett.org/
1952 Jowett Javelin - Largely original
1973 Rover P6 V8 - Original / 22,000 miles

I am getting a few necessary repairs done (the vacuum-driven wiper motor was knackered, swapping for electric one, changing from 6 volt to 12 volt electrics just to make electrical stuff easier going forward) and Waxoyling it.

Will probably run it "as is" for a while at least. I kind of like how it looks now, I am not sure I want to make it "look like new" its over 60 years old....

Definitely run as is for as long as you can tolerate, it looks amazing right now.

Fantastic looking car, you might want to laquer over the rusty patches to prevent them getting worse though.
