'Zeb' - (Not a Classic) Bloggy!

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

You wouldn't believe my luck. I stuck it on LBC not expecting to get very far with it being RHD over here. But a chap who make 1/2 size Harpsichords wanted it. He delivers too. It turns out that with removing the front passenger seat, his harpsichords fit to within an inch, the 'sticky out ' (grand piano shape) slides up into the front passenger area, so he needed a RHD one!!!

He sent me a pic of one loaded, I've got it somewhere on me PC or pad...

Both the Tank have Zeb have been replaced. One 20yr old and one 16yrs. Can feel more bloggys coming on maybe.....

That must rate as the most bizarre reason ever for needing a car with the "wrong" drive side for its owners country! The Jeeps and Toyota Land Cruisers as used in some states of the US for the lazy postal workers, so that they could get out without having to slide across the seat - or worse, actually walk around the car - in order to put stuff in roadside mail boxes, seem almost uninteresting by comparison. But could the chap not make a left handed instrument to suit a LHD car? Or stop being such a tightwad and buy a van?
I'm guessing you're quite glad that he didn't. :D

"Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..

Haha  Yes I was quite chuffed to say the least.

This pic is of Tank with Manu's personal harpsichord loaded, in its protective cover. As well as make & deliver, he travels around the country and plays at various venues.
