'79 RS 2000

1979 Rs 2000 Custom sat in a garage since 1993 ! currently having front floor pans fitted !

Yes a bit expensive for anything with an RS badge (or two door for that matter)
Was on a course with a chap who liked his motors and happened to mention his grandfather had an "old Escort" in his garage .....
I said I would like to see it and four months later after telling me he would never sell it I got the phone call !
All original apart from a 2'" exhaust and a "heavy duty" clutch as he pulled a caravan with it....
Of course when I got it home it needed a bit of restoration Floor pans and splash shields but all in all very tidy .
Hope to do a few shows and a French trip in 2015 :thumbs:
