If the work done so far is anything to go by, it should be rather lovely when you're finished. Nice to know you're keeping as much of the original bits as you can, especially the interior. Getting replacement doors to fit on a car like this can be an absolute sod, repairing the ones you've got is a much more sensible proposition.

Cheers mate. As fantastic as some of the work is on some of the modernised classics I've seen, I like old cars to feel and look like old cars. Interior is coming along nicely as well. I was at the NEC Friday to Sunday and got some good deals on leather products, so I've been busy in the evenings restoring the interior while I wait for my alternator to come back.

That interior looks lovely, i would be tempted to repair them fag burns on the centre console, you can get a repair kit from furniture clinic.

Front grille all painted ready to be put back together.

Found one of these in a barn a year ago, cleaned it up to see what kind of condition it was in, turned out it was in superb condition, just an oil leak on the gearbox.....
