"Itsy Bitsy Spider" i.e. Fiat 1500

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

"Itsy Bitsy Spider" i.e. Fiat 1500

#1 Post by Andreas » Thu Feb 20, 2014 9:34 am

Ok, let’s make it official; I’m an AUTOholic, at least when it comes to vintage stuff in need of rescue. Thus it’s hardly a surprise I just couldn’t say no to this little spider when it appeared for sale on http://www.classicdigest.com. I was sold and so was the spider!

To follow the revival of the dear old spider go to:

I'll try to update the story as often as I can.

Cheers!

Welcome indeed! Any pics of the vintage stuff you've worked on?

And more pics of the Spider please!

Cheers :D
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Vintage is a term applied to any car made before 1930. Technically no vintage cars there but every car on your link is very cool :)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
