Good save Mal
Re: Following on from the 1.6L Montego Saloon Thread....
I can remember the last time I saw one of these: 1997 parked at the bottom of my best (late) friend from school's garden. I've not seen another in person since and I'd almost forgotten about them until this thread popped up. Got to be a massively rare beastie now, particularly in that specification.

Not much has happened until this week due to sourcing correct parts etc.
Still quite a bit to do but this should give a wee taster of the progress so far.
Thanks to a good friend, with my prep and his patience we have a newly recovered headliner biscuit.
Replacement wing fitted due to original having added none factory ventilation!

New:
Front bumper has been changed out for correct fitment item for the year of the car:(yet to fully bolt up due to wing fitment needing "fettling"

That looks really tidy on the inside
Re: Following on from the 1.6L Montego Saloon Thread....
Thanks guys,
I'm hoping I can get all the repair / MOT work done by the end of next month now that the weather is improving.
After that a good spruce up, and hopefully find her a new home.
Only reason for purchase was to ensure survival, as it's a rare car in it's own right as well as a rare spec.
Interested parties feel free to let me know.
