'Chris Spencer you are charged with being in serial ownership of Jowett vehicles - how do you plead ? - Very guilty your honour'
So a member of the club admits that he is never going to get round to restoring this late 40's Jowett Bradford van - its complete and comes with a lot of spares Simple 2 cylinder horizontally opposed engine - the vans were built on a separate chassis with ash framing to support the panels - it is normally the ash frame that is the death of most vans and sees them converted to pick up style bodies - thankfully this one is very sound and just requires some of the minor frame pieces replacing - so after a trip to the Peak District to collect it yesterday its now back at home Last on the road 50 years ago - first owners were 'Rickmansworth Water Company' So it joins the queue with the other Jowett restoration projects that await in the wings
