Car went to the shot blasters yesterday for the final bit of stripping! doors, bonnet, boot & rear wings all ready for colour paint. I "just" have to finish the front wings off, then do the body bits when it comes back, then it's all ready for paint!

Proper update with some more photos to follow!

Hi Mash,
Thanks for your interest. I haven't done a single thing on the car in over a year and a half. The arrival of 2 kids has seen to it that I have no time for such things. I do have aspirations to get back to it whenever they become less labour intensive. I hope it happens before they are old enough to move out of my house! :D

Balancing an old car habit, work and young kids is very difficult. I find it a constant struggle.

i think you may be retired before the kids will let you have some free time... although my 3 yr ol & 20 month old girls have been known to give dad a hand to fix the car/van/house :D when the eldest was only 4 months old she managed to get copper grease all over her hands.. she was in her rocking chair watching/supervising me strip the brakes on my rx7.. wifey wasnt best pleased..
good luck!

Just been through replacing all the photobucket links. Thanks photobucket!! For anyone who's interested, I used Amazon's free AWS S3 storage. https://aws.amazon.com/s3/ It's only free for a year but rates are reasonable after that.

It was nice to go through the thread again though. The car is still in the shed as it has been for the past 6 years since the first kid was born......
