Granada Ghia Coupe...ish...

Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

I have seen lambo doors on silly cars before now but that is the first time I have seen someone do it to the whole bodyshell! it must have had some serious rust problems to open up like that ;)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

An escort cosworth was a cut down sierra floor pan under an escort body, pretty much what you are doing, keep it all square and with your welding skills it should be great.

Well took a front hub of yesterday, then took a piece of 1.6mm plate, and marked center, then a 112mm dia circle, and a 65mm dia circle, marked a center line for wheel stud 1, then mark stud 2 at 72º, then used the dividers to mark 3 4 and 5. Chain drilled then filed out the 65mm dia circle and filed to the line, welded in the bmw bolt holes and milled flat, put my plate on and 3.3mm pilot drilled the holes, then drilled out 11.3mm holes ready for when the studs arrive of egay.

So basicly should look exactly the same as it did when it was last on the road on its rs alloys

One of mine went missing.....3 days went by, then one night I caught him out of the corner of my eye, he had locked himself in the bedroom upstairs in the decker.

Another decided to take a trip to liverpool in the back of the posties van......luckily the posty recognised it as mine
