My 'new' motor.

#1 Post by Grease Monkey » Sat May 04, 2013 11:26 am

I know some off you, or maybe all of you, won't like my latest addition to the 'Simpson Fleet', I've recently purchased an MG ZS for a bargain price, it's on an 03 plate and cost me £300! It's great fun too, I've just fitted a bigger throttle body & K&N filter, goes well & sounds good too.
I shall also use it for Autosolos & Trackdays, PC have another coming up shortly at Blyton, near Gainsborough.
My son says I'm a big kid, but nothing wrong with that, is there?

How many head gaskets has it had? ;)
Hi John, given what you class as a toy you are definitely a big kid. I suspect most of us fall in to that category so I wouldn't worry about it.
Sounds like you are going to have some serious fun in it.

Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

A good buy! What you need to do to make it into an awesome track weapon, is drop in a T series turbo!
