1996 Peugeot 205 Diesel, purchased September 2011, demo then elderly lady owner, mileage when purchased 10228, now still only on 11221 miles.

And now
1996 Audi A4 Avant TDI 110, purchased April 2005, mileage around 206000 miles.
2001 Audi A4 TDI SE 130, purchased July 2004, mileage still just over 18300 miles.

R14 was the first car I owned, but never had it on the road as it didn't have an engine in(I was given in), I then (straight)swapped it for a Datsun Cherry Coupe that was on the road.
205 Diesel, FANTASTIC little car. If you keep them serviced and more importantly, cool, they just keep going and going, as you've proved.
205 TD, that's the 205 I always wanted. A mate had one and boy was it a rapid motor, especially by diesel standards of the day.
Love the mods you've done on them both. I swapped all the suspension on all of my 205 diesels for 1.6 GTi items. Handled REALLY well.

I think I speak for all when I disagree with your opening post that "We won't consider any of these classics". While apart from the E30 none are cars I'd want, you certainly have a great collection there and with the low mileage Peugeot that is certainly a classic! As is the Renault, love how clean it is!
