1992 Rover 216 GTi twincam

#1 Post by Rover216man » Fri Jul 20, 2012 2:43 pm

Hi,
this is my 1992 Rover 216 GTi twincam with the Honda engine. Plan is to carry out a rolling resto when time and funds allow. Photo taken in Dorset where the Rover was superb on the twisty roads.

My other car is a 1995 Citroen XM 2.1 auto hatchback which is my second XM I've owned.

2l T series is the best of the lot. We have a 216 cabriolet with Honda DOHC and while it's a good engine, the gearing is way too short. I never really liked our K series powered 414 although it was 100% reliable
