Mercedes 200 W123

#1 Post by roundthebenz » Sun Jul 01, 2012 6:02 am

Hi all, just introducing myself and my 'new' car before asking for help and guidance. Here are some pictures of my 125,000 mile, 1981 Mercedes-Benz 200 automatic.

Thank you; the paintwork was pretty dead when I bought the car so it's taken a few hours of cutting
and waxing to bring it back to life. It's been in a garage for the last couple of days for some welding
to the floor to get it ready for a new MOT.

Just hope the weather gets better.

Does or has anyone else owned a classic Mercedes? They seem great value classics.

It's amazing how single stage Mercedes Benz paint can buff out. I've had a couple of old Mercedes Benz in the past few years. The W123 is pretty indestructible and still drives great for an old car. Have fun with it.
