The guy whos setting up the carbs up is doing it in the morning.
Had a package turn up yesterday.Really pleased with the quality.
Also as its Burtons 50th year they have 50 limited edition oil filler caps.
I just had to have one. They were taking pics of the rocker covers in the shop, lol.
Looking forward to fitting these over the weekend.
The off side rear brake was binding so sorted that and
whilst I was at it gave the rear drums a coat of paint.
Will have to give the old girl a major clean up.
A few pics of the rocker covers fitted.
Fitted my home made throttle bracket.
Drilled a little hole in the bottom of one of the air filters and welded a little tube going in to it.
Then fitted a new oil filler cap with an outlet.Fitted a hose with an in-line PCV going to the tube I had welded to air filter.
Also past its MOT today.650 moles I done last year.
The drive down to Mot was my first drive with the carbs.
All I can say is there superb. The performance and noise is great.
Needs a major clean up for Battlesbridge show a week sunday
Managed to pick up a bargain.Genuine Ford shelf in mint condition and I mean mint.No marks at all
and its not warped like the one that came with the car when I bought it.
Its a proper S shelf so no carpet segments on it.
I picked this bargain up for £40 and it was 5 miles from me.Result.
Will give it a clean up and put it in the car.
