Now to decide on, and find a project for 2013.
Has to be.
British.
1950-1980.
Easy to get parts for.
Easy 3 month recommission
or up to a 1yr restoration.
Rust free "ish" if at all poss!
Abandoned or just not finished!
Bought but not got round to it car.
Must start/drive at least to test it works.
Purchase price must be right!
Within my buy and restore budget.
Must be able to make a few quid on it!
The search is on!!
My current fleet!
1971 S2 Rover P6V8 auto,PAS,leather,webasto,14" rostyles,in White/huntsman.
My daily driver since 1999.
1970 Triumph TR6pi,original UK car in Damson.
1968 S1 Rover P6V8 auto,2 owner/43k miles,Arden with sandalwood leather.

FOUND IT!
A 1964 Morris 1000 Traveller.
Locked away in a dry garage since 1988.
2 owners. 1964-70, 1970-now.
Used as 2nd car to ferry kids about, and shopping 1970-1988.
Chassis/shell rust free.
THE!! only rust ive found, apart from some minor surface stuff,
is a 50p size hole on a non structural section.
Damage on all 4 wings and both doors means easy bolt on replacement.
And ive found a pair of mint doors for £30 already! :D
It only needs cosmetic surgery inside and out.
Wood is good overall as only needing local repairs.
And doesnt justify full replacement.
Mainly mechanically sound,as will overhaul brakes.
Engine was seized, freed it off and it runs, and moves, but its V smokey.
Giving engine an in-situ rebuild.
MOT man will have a coronary when I turn up with it looking like it does with cobwebs and dust/dirt still on it!!
But hey,ive seen worse looking VW beetles! :o

You should put some of this in it and take it for an MOT ;)

Hi Kevin,
It is a bit of an "in joke". It is advertised periodically in the magazine promoted by Quentin Willson. Personally I would never use any of these "magic" engine restoring products as I believe them to be nothing but a money making scam.

 Terry, look what you did. I have no anti snake oil pills left now!

Are we allowed to state in open forum that Count Quentula is a chiselling twunt who's no more trustworthy around cars than Kevin Webster is around other people's daughters?
It's what I heard.....

 He's ok, it's Quentin Willson I'm not too fond of but it's fine, 'cos he doesn't like me much either. Clever fella. I think that the engine restore would be good as a new pizza topping. Well face it; it's sod all use for anything else.
