Foamex sounds ok.

What kind of adhesive would be used with it if the card was covered with leather, vinyl, or even wood?

Hardboard is still available. Amongst others, theres a company called Travis Perkins that sells it. I know that they have a few branches in the north west, probably elsewhere as well. By pure chance, I have 4 door cards on my "to-do" list. Be using 1mm sheet aluminium for those, backed with Dynamat....

Hi, It is indeed from a 968A! The diagram is from a Hungarian manual, hence the text. I dont know if anyone else has realised, but there is a odd thing about that wiring diagram. The text is not in cryllic script... I'm under the impression that the diagram is for a 66-on Zaz 968. If that is correct, by pure chance I know the town it was made in well, and have friends there. Therefor...

Agreed! A named brand Dot 4, such as Castrol, not the supermarket stuff.
