Thought I'd post on here.
I was on the previous forum under this moniker and being a Triumph enthusiast I'm well known on a few of the Triumph forums as I post under this moniker there as well. My current fleet is as per my signature below.

Here's two of mine: http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/ToledoMan/Project%20Brown/BrownRunningAgain.jpg My 1972 Triumph Dolomite 1850 auto (a Sprint it isn't despite the alloys) which I'm hoping to put back on the road when funds permit. (at least I won't have to give any money to the DVLA for a...

They're not normally prone to getting wet (although they can suddenly fail completely). That would only happen if the bonnet is misaligned or the seal is k...

Re: police camera etc
One of my faves was when a trucker was caught using his phone and when they stopped him he was breathalyzed and found to be 3 times the drink-drive limit. When they tested him again down the station he was still twice the limit! The police found cans of Special Brew in his cab.

Classic friendly garage in Halifax, West Yorkshire
I use Macolm Taylor on Bedford Street. It is just off Pellon Lane down the side of Staples. I've taken 3 of my Acclaims there for MoTs. When I first used them I got talking to one of the testers who turned out to be an MG enthusiast. The last MoT cost me £40 which may not be the cheapest but I knew ...

Neil, here's my most recent purchase (which was about a year ago!) http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/ToledoMan/Becky%20II/GreenBec1.jpg I only gave £100 for the car but it had a short MoT & tax. She passed the MoT without so much as an advisory and I've clocked up 20,000 realtively trouble-fre...
