I think it would be very useful if you could email the registered users. Do you have the means to send out an email that large? Thanks for waking it up again Terry. I've missed it, but I don't think we two surviving admins knew how to resurrect it. Is there any way we can drum up some support, by Facebook for example?

Filled up with Super at Tesco at £1.83 per litre, regular is £1.74 (at time of writing) Doesn't seem to have affected the amount of traffic though.

That crazy speed comes from the simple physics that rotation does not stop/start the way oscillation does. You need to choose an alternator with a built in regulator. Recent cars have the alternator controlled by the ECU, which would probably not be compatible with your Neon. Sounds a lot of money for a non-runner, RHD cars must be hard to shift in France. You need to find out exactly what's wrong and how much it would cost to fix. My innate cynicism tells me that if it were something simple the seller would have done it.
