Jerry rigged winch in the rear of a Transit Luton - gave me the capability to load the shell by myself, then to pack the rest of my gear carefully around it

Fitted the interior metalwork trims to the bodyshell has this was the best way to transport them without them being damaged, started to collect all the kit together for show, final wax of the shell before loading

Apologies all - things got somewhat a little hectic in the run up to the restoration show but now back and only just collecting my breath - so here comes the updates - I got the interior metalwork trims painted up

Refitted the bootlid (only just manageable on my own) flatted & polished to stage 3 - Tyres refitted to the rims and the rear wheels fitted - still loads to do and I had had better head back into the workshop :scared:

Wet flatted all the metal trim for the interior and got it painted into Old English White

Followed by the lacquer - net result - still a mountain to climb but getting there - then again so is Wednesday when I need to be loading the car :shock: :roll:
