Re: Anyone else noticed....

I will happily split an infinitive (like that) if it makes it easier to follow what is said, especially when most of the the people I deal with (with whom I deal) speak English as a second or even third language. The correct way doesn't always sound like it IS the correct way and successful communic...

Re: Rover 100 Knightsbridge SE

I have done quite a bit of work on this during my couple of weeks holiday in the UK (but sadly I'm now back in the Middle East): I "reconditioned" 4 alloy wheels and repainted them in "steel wheels" (rather than very shiny silver) - a colour which meets with the owner/driver's approval. Re: Sunbeam Alpine Electric Fan

I have a Kenlowe on my MGC because the original fan disintegrated and replacements make rocking horse poo look common. Re: james may programme..

Gentlemen, before you get all wound up about these cars getting wrecked, I can tell you that most the ones that get destroyed by TV companies are usually unsaveable wrecks full of filler. For example, a few years ago the MGOC did an article about a Midget that was to be wrecked in the course of shoo...

Re: Advice please

I've not had that in an 800 RIch, in fact when i had my last Jag i often bumped my head on the sunroof frame (the nasty sharp bits hidden behind the headlining!) on my XJ40. Reckon it must be down to how you set your seat in that case. I've always set the rover seats at their lowest setting and sti...
