Re: hi all

If you are in the motor trade or one of your mates is you could pick up a bargain that is being traded in . My son was offered a Maxi last year which I bought for less than £200 . It was a good one as well. the following month he took in a Rover216 auto which could have been mine for same money as t...

Re: Cleaned up pretty good.

A previous customer owned a Maxi originally fitted with a Webasto sunroof that leaked like a sieve and had bought the centre section of the roof to weld into his car. If you joggle a lip on to...

Re: A frames to tow classic

Suffolk Pete is right. You will lose your rights after you turn 70. Unless you take the rather meaningless medical test to retain them. Because I had no need to retain my HGV licence to drive large lorries I didn't bother taking a medical. I have lost the right to drive anything over 3500kg and a mi...

Re: Porsche 924 engine oil

If you can't get a replacement sensor fit an over ride switch to the fan. I did that when my Rover100 started over heating when carrying out manouvers on driving lessons. did the trick until I could find time to sort things out. Did the same thing on a Hillman Avenger fitted with an electric cooling...

Re: brake pipe flaring tool?

I have a flaring tool like the one in Sierra3dr's post,it's the second one that I bought. The first one was ruined when the pointy bit on the end of the screw turned in the former damaging the point which makes the female end. When I bought the second set I welded a bar onto the side of the point pr...
