Re: Led bulbs

I've had good service from Autobulbs before, though never bought LED bulbs from them. They came up with the goods when I wanted to buy some tiny instrument and switch illumination bulbs though. They do stock LED bulbs - have a browse https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/

Re: Is this forum still of use?

I think with only 183 registered users this forum is going to have little dynamism to attract more users. Sad really as I actively avoid Facebook and all other social media sites. Hmm, not sure where you get that number from, we have 1897 registered members and after the amount of cleaning up I've ...

Re: ford galaxy

Hit mate, welcome back! Blimey, you've had no luck there, that's high mileage yes, but not astronomical, I'd have expected better than that, but there again I'm a Volvo owner, so more used to cars that go to the moon and back without much going wrong. That Renault sounds like a disaster too, but you...

Re: Is this forum still of use?

Hi Terry, firstly very grateful for you resurrecting the site, appreciated! As per above, I think it would be great if you could e-mail the user list, if we don't get some interest back then, perhaps it's time to call it a day but if we start getting people chatting about stuff again then it will be...

Re: Is this forum still of use?

Good shout Pete.

Also, maybe there's a way to send a global e-mail advising folk that we're back on the air? No idea how to do it though....

Re: Is this forum still of use?

Hi Terry, welcome back mate! Ages ago (I think June 23rd 2022) the forum suddenly became inaccessible, just got an error message. You now appear to have woken it up again, so thanks very much for that. Personally I still like the forum, although I do recognise that before it went off air it activity...

Re: Can anyone identify this vintage car?

I'm very good friends with the chairman of the Surrey Vintage Vehicle Society (SVVS), and he specialises in identifying old cars. However, usually the task is to identify a car from a photo, not the other way around. He's still digging, but here are his thoughts so far: Difficult one. Some British s...

Re: breakdown truck

Luxobarge, this needs restoration.. whats your opinion.. https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/2126219202.htm It really depends on what you want to do, it's a personal decision. If it were me, I wouldn't touch a restoration project, parts alone will cost a fortune and they're complex cars. I can't see ...

Re: breakdown truck

Here's another, very good reason, to give a V8 a miss. (Clapped out or not.) Indeed. Having said that, mine will do 30-32 mpg on a run, and for a car that only gets occasional use we don't find fuel consumption a huge issue. You wouldn't want to run one as a daily or commuter car though and traffic...
