Re: What modern engine/gearbox to use

She's under a cover which is strapped down as I was expecting a bad winter. She's still at my parents while I'm dealing with delays with housing association management companies. And my parents are renovating parts of theirs so I couldn't get access even if I wanted too. Lets see what the new year b...

Re: What modern engine/gearbox to use

Okay here is a curve ball! The engine used in Chrysler Dodge Neons, PT Cruisers & Voyagers. Many people have swapped the 2.4 out of the PT Cruiser & Voyager into a Neon using the same ECU. US Domestic cars which are fuel injected & didn't have SECURITY PROTOCOLS for most models till the mid if not l...

Re: HubCaps

These mk2 Golf hub caps are made to go over 19mm wheel nuts not 21mm. Which means they are a tight fit and no chance of the mini chrome hub cap going over them! I'll remove the VW off them before painting them. The wheels will get done in warmer weather. https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9...

Re: HubCaps

I'm waiting on good weather to finish off shed foundations then moving the whole lot from my parents.
There is two sodding boats to deal with this year. And I don't want the car damaged again.
I might be ending with not only the neon but with the corolla as well!

HubCaps

I purchased Mk2 VW Golf wheel centre caps[set of 4] off Facebook Marketplace for £15. They arrived today. I popped them in the sink with piping hot water & washing powder. I kid you not the old paint & grime came off. The photos are from the seller. The rest are after the clean I'll post later. I di...

Also if you like your current or old glasses you could get them re lensed at a cheap price. So keep us informed thanks FI...

When I was At Dalton Park getting some Thorntons Chocolates for family. This rare little number was in the car park. Until I spotted I thought I was driving the oldest car there! When was the last time you saw a Vauxhall Nova let alone a 4 door saloon? https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/4...
