Re: Q's on A/C Compressors changes in displacement & effect

Well I've bitten the bullet! I've bought a 12v DC powered Air Conditioning Compressor off Allibaba. The price was 342.13 USD = 250.07 GBP Yeah my first purchase isn't bloody cheap one!!!! I will also have to pay import charges when it gets to the UK too. But with prices going up and up I can see the...

Re: Q's on A/C Compressors changes in displacement & effect

The reason for the electric option is there is no space on the serpentine belt system. The V6 takes up more space in places than the original inline4. I was going to place it on the opposite side over the gearbox. As for alternator inline4 = 90amp, v6 = 120 or 160amp. Orginal system was chopped year...

Q's on A/C Compressors changes in displacement & effect

I need to lift the wheelchair into the back of the car onto the rear seat There are various types in the states but none really really for a similar sized car. This is a Chrysler 300c. looking into having a suicide door conversion (health reasons)

I might be looking into having the rear drivers side door having a suicide conversion. Are there any 4 door car owners of similar sized cars to the mk1 Neon who either are wheelchair users or know people who are who've done this? This is not some random question on my behalf. I walked into hospital ...

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?

With the lockdown & the sunshine. I've noticed a lot of people using their classics to 'do the shopping!'
Hartlepool Tesco on Friday there were a silver Audi Quatro. A square VW aircooled van. 90's Rover 800, Saab 9500.
I have no excuses other than my 97 Corolla is my daily driver! lol
