Sorted! Good old VW, they fit diodes in the supply to each socket, presumably that's why all 3 were down, even though there's a fuse for the boot one and another for the indoors ones. I can just imagine someone plugging in a faulty charger, then trying it in the next socket, and the next, destroying...
