Re: Where do these headlamps belong?

I'm not sure if they are the same lights on the Micra - have a look at the amber indicator part on the van, wide and flat at the bottom and almost to a point at the top but on the car the same part seems to be narrower and more rounded at both top and bottom. Of course it could just be me needing to...

Re: Car SOS.

It was interesting to see Fuzz removing one layer of paint with thinners and the layer underneath remaining. He made it look so easy - either very powerful thinners or a poor paint job in the first place. I thought the original intention had been to leave the original paint but then the car got a r...

Re: Car SOS.

Interesting programme but I found Tim to be particularly irritating in this episode. I appreciate that it was a great honour to meet Sir Stirling Moss and to talk about the history of the car, but he then totally over played that connection when visiting the parts supplier and the old guy in Norther...

Re: Where to get Vauxhall/Bedford HA parts

Try Ebay - my first search found these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Viva-HA-Sill-63-66-/331294859339?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d22b6604b Dad had couple of vans for his plumbing business and drove them into the ground. I missed out on the HA but then had HB and HC models followed by Cheve...

Re: clio diesel

Remember that nowadays one of the cheapest ways to get a code reader is to get a special cable and an app (Torque Pro?) for your smart phone (assuming you have one) - well worth getting, Thanks - I wasn't aware of that but have now found details here http://torque-bhp.com/ Another link here - only ...

Re: How do car loans work?

When I was riding the Black Horse many years ago, organising loans was something I did five or six time a day - remember that from a Bank it will be a 'Personal Loan' which means that we lend to you as a person - you tell us it's for a car but we didn't check what the money had been spent on. As lon...
