They should encourage it,the Government did in the 90's in Germany. Wow! I enjoyed reading this. I'm just finishing off my Sierra,I'm using a Galaxy 2.3 block with a 4wd set up. So I had to weld in the 4wd tunnel,and weld in new metal in the same location as yours.

underside roof repair?
Ok lads and lassies,on my MK5 Cortina with sunroof,the metal has rotted. I'm thinking that the only way to rebuild the underside is to cut off the topside. Has anyone else done such work on their Classics?
