Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Today I have been taking the Singer to the MOT garage, nice leasurly inspection followed by a nice fresh certificate. Went the long way home, parked it in the garage and checked the auto box fluid level.
All good and I think a trip is in order tomorrow afternoon.

Re: Mercedes 190E been laid up a long long time

A good mobile locksmith should be able to sort out the new key required, I do wonder if it will have an immobiliser fitted linked to the key tho?
As far as registering it, if you have the v5, I'd fill it in and send it off.
Good luck and remember, we love pictures!

Re: Austin A30 Seven

Great update and a lovely practical classic, one I hope to own one day.
I use this wax ..http://www.harlywax.co.uk/

Easy to use and a tin goes a long way.

Enjoy the spring / summer motoring.

Re: Today I have been ?????????????? to my classic

Today I gave the singer a good check over and a nice wash n polish in readiness for the MOT next Friday. Once that was done, I took the Sony pull out radio out and changed the 3 Duracell batteries that are fitted and allow the radio to be used out of the car. Slight bit of corrosion on the old batte...

Been a few years back and If I was to go again I would get my ticket online, get a bus in from another nearby village (Brockenhurst etc) and walk in.

I watched the BMW 2002 episode the other night, Phil made a brief appearance and I must admit that I cheered when he did!
The car was fabulous at the end too!

Re: Series 3 Landie FFR

I preferred LWB rims on my SWb series, have the vehicle a bit more of a stance in my eyes!
