My future classic

Had to rule out buying a classic air cooled 911 due to scary prices so I settled for a newer version. Hopefully this will hold it's value well and prove to be a good investment;

Re: Taxing a car that's been off road

SORN status is lost when ownership transfers. I agree with the previous comments, try to tax it with the new keeper supplement, you may be able to do it on the DVLA website.

Re: An 80's icon

That looks lovely, what are the chances of finding one that good so close to home! Reminds me of a school friend who's Dad got one of those as a company car just as we were all passing our tests. My mate came to pick me up in it one day and I was sooo jealous! Great car and congrats on a great find ...

Mini bi-motor

Seen today at a local country show. 2 Downton tuned motors that can run either independently or together in a 4WD set up. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj320/JPSH120/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_0314_zpsmgnpnkq8.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj320/JPSH120/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_0317_zpsxmokg87n....

Re: Sunbeam Rapier National - Pictures

A few snaps from the weekend, a bit biased on fastbacks! Shocking weather for the drive up on Friday and home again on Sunday but at least the main day (Saturday) was good. I was fortunate enough to be voted best fastback on the day which was great reward for all the hard work! http://i275.photobuck...

Re: Eddypecks 1988 Golf GTI - One in Ten Million

Looks like another good purchase, I'm surprised how good these cars still look some 30+ years since launch.

As I mentioned on another post, I had 2 Mk2's and quite fancy getting another one before the values go mad!
