Re: Something a little different 'bloggy' & not quite classic!

Once up in Silloth (again) with a few weeks at hand. I asked on the Silloth Facebook page for reccomendations for a place to straighten the wheel and sort me a couple of new tyres. I received a number of tyres and plumped for one called Robinsons Car and Commercial. Based in the old control tower of...

Re: Meet The Welshmobile!

.......and The Welshmobile made it back too. Not without a snag tho'

About 5 miles from home went into 'limp mode' ( Ooohh Matron!) .

Made it, next day I read the codes, misfire cyl 3.

Treated it to a fresh set of Volvo plugs and a BERU coil pack for cyl 3.

All good again now

Re: T5 - Another 'not yet a classic' Bloggy.

So, since the exhaust, not a lot to report. Starting remains 'on the button' I did go for an overtake the other day, which embarrassingly turned out to be a kangaroo-ing no power debacle  . I swiftly pulled back in and limped home...... 1st thoughts was that the electronic throttle mod...

Meet The Welshmobile!

Yes, far too young a motor for this forum I'm sure, but its a gooden & one day will be old enough :D Anyways, we had to make a 'blat' from home in Southern Brittany to Silloth in Cumbria. Anyways pre-empting this blat, (TW had a squealy brake syndrome from the fronts.) A quick strip down, clean with...

Re: Autodoc online car parts.

Ive been making a nuisance of myself . I found one of the 'bosses' of Autodoc and sent him a message about the way I have been treated. Also sent a letter to the Director. They phoned me today to offer a refund of the difference between the part I ordered and the part I received. This was something ...

Re: Autodoc online car parts.

Rich, yes I often receive packages that have been opened here. In fact one time I had a 'thin blue line' pin badge sent over (I've got a little collection  ) . This was from a collection for a Police officer killed on duty. Donate to his family and you received the badge, value of badge about ...

Autodoc online car parts.

Do not use this company. I recently ordered a Gates piece. On arrival the security seal on the Gates box has been torn. The part inside was made by Dayco. A cheaper item. I queried this on their chat help, to be told that the item is 'correct'. They would not accept any problem. Today I phoned and w...
