Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70
How much do they sell for?? Well I took delivery of a Model 70 just yesterday, only £75 too (plus postage)!! OK it's a bit small, 1/43 scale to be precise and is now proudly on display in my "3-wheelers and Reliants" display case, bracketed by a Scootacar and a Bond Minicar..... http://www.23hq.com/...

Re: car sos.
That one is the one that Wayne Carini owned. Strange old vehicles, based as far as I can find out on a 5 ton truck chassis and claimed to have been designed by Pininfarina. They seem to have built a few through the 1950's and 1960's...… https://www.pinterest.co.uk/gregbaser/bmc-technical-support-veh...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70
For a conventional lead-acid battery, take a check on the Banner "Starting Bull" 530 030 (this number is for the version with lug fittings, though there is also a post fitting one with a slightly different number). Batteries, size and fitting of, are a constant headache for Reliant owners as we too ...

Re: Classic Tools anyone?
Back on topic, I still have and occasionally use a socket set that was a Christmas present from my late dad in 1969. It was at the time a make I'd never heard of - Kamasa!! It came in a metal case, light green metallic green in colour and was WW, AF and metric. Amazingly the only things I've replace...

Re: france, again..
A few thoughts from possibly the least political member of this forum...…. Who doubts that after March 2019 prices will, again, rocket up on everything with the blame being squarely blamed on "Brexit"..... It'll pretty much all be lies as well!!! As it was after decimalisation of the pound in 1971 O...

Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70
John(B), The tank is remarkably similar to the van/estate Rebel one, but the Invacar tank is a fair bit smaller so I doubt the Rebel tank would fit... Zel, Back in the early 1990's, Reliant Kitten tanks were unobtainable new (even though they are the same as the Robin ones), second-hand being the on...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..
Modern BMW? Hmm, I've yet to try and pull one of those backwards up a hill with the "little w4nk3r" (Pajero Mini, warranted to be 100% BMW free), but given that a Datsun X-trail is easy to embarrass that way, I'm guessing that the hairdresser's 4x4 in the listing wouldn't be too much of an issue fo...

Re: Yet another "what should I buy next?" type of thread..
Our prodigal had an RX8, in metallic racing green, for a long time, financed by the bank of M&D...…. He loved it as did I, it really was brilliant to drive, quick, comfortable, handled and gripped well and versatile too. His was a 54 reg, just before the better "Renesis" engine. Of course he suffere...

Re: Change Coil or junk ballast system?
AMC I know little about but as it's already got an electronic ignition, then this will work better fed from 12v rather than the 7v or so it gets through the ballast wire. On most cars this will connect to the back of the ignition switch, so I'd disconnect it from there, then run a new cable from tha...
