The original latch has a wired connection, we're not sure what that's for yet as we've not tested it but we're expecting it's for the alarm or to illuminate a bonnet open light on the dash, much like the boot has. Believe me, they don't just slot in! Quite a bit of cutting and trimming is needed for the units to fit into the standard headlamp mounts, the outer dipped units with the projector lenses are extremely deep, and far longer than the headlamp bowl. The inner standard halogen units fit fine however :) ...

Slots are 13", Compos 14". Slots need a bloody good polish, so neither set will be going on in the very near future unless a miracle happens, so it'll probably see out this summer on the Sprints anyways.
