Ive got a 4 post lift I use just for this purpose, mine was secondhand, and is bolted to the 6" thick reinforced slab the garage stands on, I put my elan on top so oil drips are inevitable.

I had to go to defender rims on my series for the same reason, in fact i am sure there are a pair in the loft still, you can have them if you like, collection from chelmsford or dunton.

Some progress last night, the repair section has been seam welded up and fitted.
Ialso folded up the new outer sill.

Brake pipe replaced, at least no sign of corrosion on the fittings, I haven't bled them yet so lets hope the bleed nipples come undone!

Most of the rust also cut out of the floor hopefully get it all replaced tomorrow, might even get the body mount done as well.

More rust issues on the way home from work, the main front rear brake pipe burst due to one small area of corrosion just behind the front wheel.
