Re: Custom made outdoor cover

I'll give PRO-TEC a try thanks after the weekend. It's a no-can-do for one of those Gala tent things unfortunately as the driveway it's kept on runs down the side of the house and our 'front' door is also on the side - I'd be blocking access.

I'd be happy to and there's quite a few on my Photobucket account, but I'm in work on night shift and Photobucket is blocked. :(

Custom made outdoor cover

I'm having difficulties getting a cover for my restored 1985 Ford Transit 100. I want something good enough for use throughout the year that can be secured well enough for the bad weather. Every company I've tried has declined except Classic Additions who said they could send someone out to measure ...

Re: Recreating door rubbers

Thanks for the replies. I'd never heard of Baines so gave them a call. I can't be sure but I think the chap's name was Graham. Anyway, they may well have been able to help but I think maybe I must have caught him at a bad time as he seemed disinterested. Simple yes/no answers and I had to probe for ...

Recreating door rubbers

I'm in the process of restoring an old van. An issue I have is that the original door rubbers are way past their best and can't be purchased new. I can probably buy similar material but the originals have 90 degree angles on them which will be difficult to replicate unless I cut at 45 degrees and jo...

Restoring leather seats

I know I've read about this somewhere, and being a PC subscriber there's a good chance it's in PC... The leather seats in my motor have scuffs and marks on the driver's bolster I'd like to treat before they get worse. I've used a product called Gliptone in the past to feed leather but this time I'm ...

Battery charger

I'm trying to remember if PC have done a battery charger test lately?

I'm after one that would be happy to keep a camper leisure battery trickle charged for maybe a month or two at a time, plus the rarer but important car charge if needed.

Any advice appreciated.
