I think the time is right for a PC Article on paint, with the emphasis on spraying a car at home. Most of the articles in the past seem to have been orientated towards professional bodyshops. And of course the radio, if one is fitted, although a lot of radios of that vintage are switchable between negative and positve earth.

If there is an owners' club for your chosen model, why not ask them. Most classics have their little weaknesses and I'm not sure an AA/RAC inspector more used to modern vehicles would be able to spot them. I've never used their services though, so I may be doing them an injustice.

Yes, it says it's right hand drive and doesn't have the certificate of conformity to be used in France, but is legal for use in England.

Notice he's driving without protective overalls and with an old fashioned helmet. He had to get special permission from the FIA to do this, but he thinks classic racing wouldn't look right with the modern safety gear. Inspirational man!
